Her design has a lot of interesting elements. I particularly like her mischevious expression and her pose, which convey some of the playfulness and activity of youth.
As for criticism, the first thing that strikes me is that the fingers of both her hands are arranged in painful-looking positions. With the right hand, she's bending her pinky but her ring and middle fingers are straight, which is almost impossible to do. Also-- and this goes for a lot of your pictures-- I think you could really imbue this character with some more depth if you used more striking shading and highlights. For instance, on the lighter brown parts of her outfit, the color of the shaded areas is so close to the color of the lighter areas that the effect of the shading is lost. And, while her skin does have discernable shadows, it doesn't have any highlights.
It is a cute design, though! I also like the acorn theme.

((Thanks a bunch for doing this!)) More shading and highlighting...I will definitely work on that. I have been trying, more recently, to use colored pencil to help with shading, (like in that picture I posted recently in my journal) and hopefully I'll get better with that. And I didn't really think much of the hands until you pointed them out. That does look painful. As for the shading on the skirt, does it look okay with the sharp edges, or would you soften the edge?

Do you mean the work in progress with the red guy? If so, then I say pursue it, since it looked good in that one. Markers scare the crap out of me, so I can't offer much in the way of technical advice for them.
Since you're going for an anime style, I think the sharp shading looks fine.

The Iduna character design came out really good! I like those bobbs and the rest of her anatomy figure. I also love her clothes too.
