Trying to get some race ideas down on paper.
I'm just calling them gatormen at the moment; naming is something I take a while to do with things. Names are important after all.
This race has evolved from nocturnal alligator-like beasts that live underground and is just learning how to craft weapons. Its members are sentient but lack wisdom. The leaders are those with the most intelligence. Those who are low on the class chain do the bidding of their leaders without putting a thought into it. This makes the race dangerous to both others and themselves. They can walk upright, but still prefer to swim.
